Bérengère LIGTHART-GLEYZE
Bérengère is the founder of iTF Coaching & Training. She works with leaders and teams and helps them create positive and productive team dynamics and powerful intercultural workplaces. She believes in the Power, Pride and Pleasure (3Ps) of teamwork.
Bérengère has a background in law with 18 years of experience working with global, intercultural and cross-functional teams, as a corporate lawyer for Philips Electronics and Signify (former Philips Lighting). She has been leading the legal and licensing committee of the Blu-ray Disc Association, composed of multiple companies with their own company culture and expertise from disc and player manufacturers to Hollywood studios. This was a fantastic and unforgettable experience from an intercultural and team perspectives.
Through her study and professional career, Bérengère has travelled intensively and lived in different countries and continents. Living and working in other countries brought her a very constructive and practical experience on intercultural communication. Born in Bordeaux, France, Bérengère lived and studied there, as well as in Spain and Belgium. She then lived and worked in Argentina and in the Netherlands where she has been living for the last 20 years. Bérengère has a passion for leading and coaching across cultures. She speaks French, English, Dutch and Spanish.
As an intercultural team coach and trainer, Bérengère works with individuals and teams and helps them develop skills to meet the demands of today’s diverse and international workplace by leveraging cultural differences for greater creativity & innovation and facilitating high performance & high value creation. Bérengère is an EMCC certified team coach (European Mentoring & Coaching Council) click here and an intercultural coach and trainer COF certified (Cultural Orientations Framework), as well as DISC certified. She operates at the intersection of team coaching, intercultural communication and employee retention.
Bérengère also holds a master’s degree in law from the University of Maastricht in the Netherlands (LL.M.) and from the University of Bordeaux in France. She also graduated in law from the University of Leuven in Belgium and the University of Deusto, Bilbao in Spain, with the Erasmus program.
She is a member of the NOBCO (Nederlandse Orde van Beroepscoaches), the Dutch Order of Professional Coaches & the European Mentoring & Coaching Council.
Bérengère is result-oriented and energetic, passionate and empathetic with solid effectiveness skills. She combines in-depth expertise with hands-on approaches and authentic work examples.
